Wooley Mammouth Baby
Woolly Mammoths were herbivores that lived in a cold, harsh climate. They kept warm with long, thick hair and woolly underfur. Almost ten feet tall at the shoulder, these massive mammals weighed three tons. Other characteristic features on both males and females included twin ivory tusks, a long trunk with finger-like projections at the tip, big ears, and a sloped back. Mammoths used their tusks to move snow from areas of vegetation. Moving together as a herd, Woolly Mammoths migrated from place to place in search of food
