Pokemon are creatures with unique powers and special abilities. In the world of Pokemon humans act as trainers with the goal of capturing as many Pokémon as they can. Once a Pokemon has been captured it joins the trainer’s team with the task of then helping to catch further Pokémon, enabling the trainer to progress on to become Pokemon master.

Pokemon battles have a strict rule book and code of conduct that does not allow for any dirty tricks or easy escapes. These ferocious battles never end with a creature’s death; the successful Pokémon wins by forcing its opponent to faint. The outcome for the losing Pokemon is to be sent to the Pokemon centre for recovery or to be captured by a trainer and put in a Poke Ball.

Throughout every high energy Pokemon adventure, its underlying theme for each characters journey, whether capture or battle; is to encourage cooperation and teamwork.
